Tournaments

Brandon Golf Course has a rich history of hosting and promoting golf tournaments. Every year BGC hosts its four main tournaments which date back to 1997. These tournaments are open to the public and draw close to 800 golfers. They include the Two Person Scramble in May, the Men’s Open in June, the Four Person Scramble in July, and the Fall Classic in September.

Brandon Golf Course also hosts the annual Men’s and Ladies Club Tournament in August. This is a two day 36 hole individual stroke play tournament that is open to those golfers who are members of the Brandon Golf Association. Other club tournaments include the Senior and Pre-Senior Men's Club Tourney and Junior Club Tourney.

Brandon Golf course also partners with the South Dakota Golf Association to host SDGA events. BGC has hosted the Junior Championship, the Senior Championship, the Women’s Championship, the Adult Junior Championship, and the Two Woman Team Championship. In 2013, the Brandon Golf Course will host the Boys State AA Golf Tournament.
